The Zodiac Within: Exploring Duads and Duad Charts with Alice Portman

The Duad system, a subject especially close to Alice Portman’s heart, reveals a miniature zodiac contained within each sign of the zodiac. From this system, astrologers can calculate Duad charts that offer an additional and illuminating layer of chart interpretation.

In this presentation, Alice will introduce the Duad system and demonstrate how Duad charts can reveal precise connections to family members, relationships and organizations, often within one degree of accuracy. She will also show how these charts can help distinguish between twins, even when they were born only a few minutes apart.

Duad charts can be especially powerful when examining both personal experiences and world events. Alice first developed the idea of creating Duad charts in the 1990s, and the material presented in this lecture is based on her original work and extensive research.

The method for calculating Duad charts was later incorporated into Solar Fire, and Duad charts can also be calculated easily using Astro Gold.
