What it is…
This year has had its share of astrological anomalies, from the Neptune/Saturn conjunction at 0° Aries, the alignment of the 7 planets, two Blue Moons in May, and now we are looking at a Mini Trine with Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus.
This particular configuration is formed when one planet sextiles two that are also trine each other. This configuration is often associated with the formation of a Grand Trine to a Kite, but it does have merit on its own as well.
The Mini–Grand Trine can be referred to as the Talent Triangle and is similar in ease of flow to the Grand Trine but here it represents the ability to take existing latent gifts, creative potential, and talents (the trine) and refine it into true skill through consistent use. Therefore, it is also more energetic than the Grand Trine in which abilities often flow with ease; the Talent Triangle actually acts on the Sextiles giving it greater potential. In the Talent Triangle adapting to change and gathering experiences leads to accumulative growth, a result of experience not necessarily actively sought or worked on.
July 4, 2026

This particular Talent Triangle is a rare formation between the outermost planets that could reshape absolutely everything we’ve come to know, understand and believe in.
This pattern first appeared in 2025 when Uranus was at 1° Gemini trining retrograde Pluto in Aquarius, and Neptune (along with Saturn) at 1° of Aries. The events of 2025 gave us a sneak preview of the coming summer.
In 2026 it is exact between July 7th and July 31st with all three planets at 4° and in August it becomes a Cradle with Jupiter opposing Pluto and trining Neptune.
June 6th through to June 17th of 2027 all planets will be at 6°, and will make their presence known one final time before moving on. Comprised of the three outer planets this lengthy talent triangle will have far reaching implications for our brave new world:
Uranus in Gemini is associated with AI and the information boom which is changing how we receive and incorporate information and has transformed how we consume media.
Neptune in Aries highlights our sense of individuality within a spiritual construct; bridging inspiration and action to transcend beyond our limitations. Neptune grants us artistic freedom and grater personal agency.
Pluto in Aquarius provides freedom from oppression and tyranny, returning power to the people. Pluto uncovers social inequality and forces a re-evaluation of human rights and the exposes inequalities of wealth distribution.
Historically these 3 planets have been influential in difficult times of human development:
Pluto in Aquarius during the 1777 and 1798, coinciding with the American and French Revolution with themes of Freedom and equality
Neptune in Aries 1861 to 1864, the American civil war with themes of civil rights and freedoms
Uranus in Gemini from 1940 to 1949, themes of war, the rise of fascism and the subsequent technological boom which led to the space race.
In this Case:
Uranus in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius brings an ease of flow, harmony and cooperation through the element of air; mental, intellectual, rational, logical, conceptual, communicative, social, objective and inquisitive.
Both planets Sextile Neptune in Aries as the apex planet gives great opportunity, resources and support through the element of fire; aspiration, energetic, creative, courageous, individualistic, active, enthusiastic, and inspirational.
The Gift
The blend of Neptune in Cardinal Aries, Pluto in Fixed Aquarius, and Uranus in Mutable Gemini brings all three modalities together suggesting action supported by adaptability and the objectivity to stay the course. These 3 trans-personal planets move so slowly and represent generational changes societal evolution and spiritual awakening. We as “The People” seem to be on the threshold of experiences that go beyond the personal, reaching past human ego, personality and even our sense of identity.
The Challenge
Venus entering Leo mid-June will start to really bring awareness to what’s evolving on a social level. However, Mars will enter Gemini and merge with Uranus on July 4th, thus activating the Talent Triangle as it becomes exact for the very first time. It’s at this time we’ll start to see what this energy really means for our world.
Furthermore, we are facing equally challenging times as this Talent Triangle forms a Cradle on July 20th, 2026, and a Kite on August 12th.
What It Does
July 20th 2026

A Cradle is an aspect pattern formed by two planets in opposition that are connected by a series of trines and sextiles, creating a shape that resembles a hammock or cradle in the chart.
This pattern suggests a natural ability to integrate opposing forces in life. The opposition provides tension and awareness, while the surrounding trines and sextiles offer opportunities, talents, and supportive pathways for resolving that tension. A Cradle often indicates a gift for mediation, balance, and finding creative solutions to challenges. There is usually a sense of being supported by life, though they must be careful not to become overly comfortable and miss opportunities for growth.
In this Case:
Jupiter in Leo opposite Pluto Rx in Aquarius, exact July 20th
Pluto trine Uranus, Neptune trine Jupiter, Neptune sextile Pluto, Jupiter sextile Uranus
Uranus is now at the Apex of a second Talent Triangle giving Uranus more visibility
Jupiter in Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius
Jupiter enters Leo on June 30th and continues forming an opposition to Pluto until July 20th. At this time Jupiter will also form a trine to Neptune and a sextile to Uranus, as a second Talent Triangle is born. Both Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries will be more naturally expressed through the activation and potential reception of the multidimensional gifts presented by the opposition of Pluto and Jupiter. Without it, the skills, gifts, and abilities could lay dormant or be developed too quickly or become uncontrollable.
Pluto in Aquarius also brings in the question of whether everyday people should be able to tap into the potential resources within this formation.
Jupiter asks us to balance the desire for growth and success with the responsible use of power, ensuring that expansion serves transformation rather than domination.
As the push and pull begins, will Pluto and Jupiter rock the cradle enough to find balance?
Who holds the power, and what happens when that power is challenged by a larger truth?
The Gift:
Jupiter in Leo expand Leo’s creative, courageous and self-expressive nature indicating that a higher truth exists within the Talent Triangle. It shows that power isn't limited to one group of the population. Unfortunately, Jupiter can also expand pride, ego, drama and need for validation.
When Jupiter last opposed Pluto in Capricorn between 2013-2014, documents leaked by Edward Snowden revealed the extent of global surveillance conducted by the National Security Agency. The revelations sparked worldwide debates about privacy, government power, transparency, and civil liberties. Jupiter’s last transit of Leo, between 2014-2015 gave rise to social media influencers turning everyday people into celebrities.
Jupiter’s sextile to Uranus is an aspect of opportunity towards innovation, and breakthrough growth. It combines Jupiter’s desire to expand horizons with Uranus’ urge to liberate, awaken, and revolutionize. Together, they create an energy that welcomes positive change and encourages stepping beyond familiar boundaries. Jupiter’s trine to Neptune creates a second outlet for harmony and cooperation towards artistic freedom and greater personal agency. Neptune is slowly dissolving and transcending old, outdated beliefs both civil, and political. Also affected are cultural norms and individual rights. Will this Cradle act as the bridge between collective beliefs and personal spirituality?
The Challenge:
Curiously it seems fitting that the new pope has chosen the name Leo as he represents the religious faction along with the political right that is maintains the status quo. Will Pluto in Aquarius have everyday people stepping into power and challenging those higher truths?
It seems like the ultimate power struggle; Pluto may be more empowered to take a stance from its position in the 4th to bring about a new revolution. This could be the point in which the people finally rise up and say no more. A truth may be revealed that leads to a loss of faith in the powers that be.
August 12 2026

By August, the original Mini trine is now a Kite with Venus opposing Neptune. One could argue the appearance of a second Kite with Mercury opposing Pluto. Chiron remains in critical degree in Taurus as are Mars and Ceres in Cancer.
A Kite is an aspect pattern formed when a Grand Trine is activated by a fourth planet that opposes one point of the trine and sextiles the other two, creating a shape that resembles a kite in the birth chart.
The Grand Trine provides natural talents, ease, and flow, while the opposition introduces tension, purpose, and motivation. This added challenge helps direct the gifts of the Grand Trine toward a specific goal, preventing the energy from becoming complacent or under-utilized.
The planet opposite the Grand Trine often acts as a focal point, demanding growth and conscious engagement. Through working with that tension, the individual can unlock and channel their innate abilities in a productive and meaningful way.
A Grand Air Trine between Venus in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius creates a powerful flow of intellectual, social, and relational energy. Air signs thrive on ideas, communication, connection, and perspective, allowing these three planets to work together with remarkable ease.
Venus in Libra seeks harmony, fairness, beauty, and meaningful relationships. Uranus in Gemini brings innovation, curiosity, unconventional thinking, and a desire to exchange ideas freely. Pluto in Aquarius adds depth, transformation, and the power to reshape collective values, social systems, and future visions.
Together, this pattern suggests a natural ability to understand evolving social dynamics, build connections across diverse groups, and inspire change through communication and diplomacy. There is potential for revolutionary ideas about relationships, community, equality, and cooperation to spread quickly and gain influence.
The Grand Air Trine provides a natural flow of ideas, social intelligence, innovation, and transformative relationship dynamics. However, Neptune’s opposition introduces a point of tension and purpose that demands conscious engagement.
In this Case:
Neptune in Aries Opposite Venus in Libra
This opposition creates a push-pull between:
Self-interest and partnership
Personal vision and compromise
Idealism and reality
Individual desires and relationship needs
Fantasy and authentic connection
Neptune in Aries can inspire a powerful dream of personal freedom, courage, and spiritual self-discovery. Opposing Venus in Libra, it challenges existing ideas about relationships, fairness, beauty, and social harmony. There may be a tendency to idealize partners, causes, or visions of the future, making discernment essential.
How It Activates the Grand Trine
Without Neptune, the Grand Air Trine could remain comfortably intellectual. Neptune’s opposition acts like a sail catching the wind, giving the pattern direction and meaning. It asks:
How do these brilliant ideas and social connections serve a larger vision?
The innovation of Uranus in Gemini and the transformative power of Pluto in Aquarius can now be channeled toward Neptunian goals—artistic inspiration, spiritual awakening, collective ideals, or the pursuit of a dream that transcends personal gain.
The Gift
At its highest expression, this Kite pattern may inspire people to begin to openly express their ideas and build relationships around shared ideals. New possibilities don’t seem so far-fetched when we realize we share common goals. Using the new tools at hand we can bridge intellect and intuition in service of a greater purpose.
The Challenge
The shadow lies in confusion, projection, and unrealistic expectations. Neptune can blur boundaries, making it difficult to distinguish between what is hoped for and what is actually present. Venus could bend her values in order to keep the peace and please everyone.
What now?
Solar Eclipse Aug 12, 2026 1:34 PM EDT

The Eclipse chart is disorienting to say the least. Venus will not be the only planet to create a Kite pattern, Mercury sits at the midpoint of the Uranus Neptune trine creating a second, and even more configurations appear as we examine this chart.
In this Case:
There are now 3 talent triangles in the mix:
The original, Pluto, Uranus and Neptune
Venus, Uranus and Mercury
Neptune, Mercury and Uranus
Mercury gives a voice to the energy and contributes to the action; not of individuals now, but voices for change, finding each other. Mercury unites two talent triangles, promoting the idealism striking a spark that brings together the disillusioned and Uranus in the 3rd Talent Triangle not only unites the other talent triangles it affects the newly formed Mystic Rectangle as well. Uranus is the key to the chart.
A Mystic rectangles is formed as the kites unite, creating:
sextiles between Venus and Mercury
oppositions of Venus and Neptune, Pluto and Mercury
trines of Venus and Pluto, Neptune and Mercury
A Mystic Rectangle is formed when two oppositions combine with the trines and sextiles connecting each side, much like the folds of an envelope. The two oppositions represent areas of tension, and challenge, that demand awareness and growth. Not just creating conflict for its own sake, these oppositions provide the motivation to evolve. The trines offer natural talents, ease, and supportive energy, while the sextiles create opportunities for conscious action and collaboration. Together, these harmonious aspects provide the tools needed to work through the challenges of the oppositions.
A Mystic Rectangle can be thought of as a bridge between tension and harmony. It encourages us to integrate seemingly opposing forces, transforming conflict into wisdom and purpose. Unlike more stressful configurations the supportive aspects help prevent the oppositions from becoming overwhelming, making this a pattern of resilience, adaptability, and creative problem-solving. Life still presents opposites and contradictions, but there is an underlying capacity to organize and integrate them.
The Gift
Adding a Solar Eclipse in Leo to this mixed pattern introduces yet another powerful catalyst for action, visibility, and creative self-expression. This energy also acts as a seeding moment for major shifts, alluding to however these configurations manifest becoming something much greater than the sum of its parts. Unlike a regular New Moon, eclipses tend to have a stronger, longer-lasting influence. They often coincide with:
Sudden beginnings or endings
Fated-feeling events or encounters
Rapid shifts in perspective
Turning points that unfold over months
Situations that feel “out of your control” but are deeply meaningful
A Solar Eclipse often signals a major turning point in direction, awareness, or life trajectory. Something is being revealed, redirected, or rewritten at the level of identity and future path.
The Challenge
It’s no secret that we are living in unprecedented times that will be written into the history books. The ingress of Pluto into Aquarius, followed by Neptune and Saturn into Aries, and Uranus into Gemini has made this clear. As soon as Jupiter enters Leo, it will be the last planet to set us down a new trajectory and the pace will quicken. The coming months are a whirlwind of what can only be described as revolutionary evolution and we are all just along for the ride.
In Conclusion
This particular eclipse is part of a much bigger family of Eclipses or Saro Series called the S.S 10 South. In Bernadette Brady’s Book “Predictive Astrology” she suggests that:
“This Saro Series concerns itself with breaking out of a very negative situation where no hope can be seen to a more positive space containing more options. A worry that may have been affecting a person will suddenly clear. The solution is shown by the cosmos and needs to be taken up without too much delay.”
Is that not the perfect image of the kites already catching the wind from Neptune’s dream and the Air trines ideas? The Leo eclipse lands like a spark, igniting the Kites and lifting them even higher.
May you live in interesting times, indeed.
